GM already solved this. Open the trunk and wash everything. Designed to get wet. C8TrunkCover is the licensed Corvette accessory you’re looking for. Also you just foam and wash everything when washing the car and then use a blower - done. 10 minutes no touch. Even easier if engine bay and exterior is ceramic coated as you mentioned.

Basic takeaway. C7 for the classic muscle car guy. C8 for if you want an exotic car. Ive had the honor to drive both and I confirm. It's fun to see the nose of the C7 lift up to the sky when you hit the pedal. But the c8 feels like a prestigious car like a McLaren or Ferrari, but it also feels like it could tear up the track or the mountains of Tennessee.

I'll keep my C-7 Corvette Stingray Z51 with a manual transmission. It definitely looks better then The C-8.

I own a C7 Corvette Stingray, and yes, I would love to own a C8 Z51 or Z06 one day. That being said, the C8 is just a different animal altogether over the C7. It just depends on what you can afford. Love both the C7 and C8.

I would like for you to advise which xLT package the Corvette is equipped with BEFORE you explain any features. A lot of the features you are addressing are NOT standard and belong to an upper “LT” package.

May 2023 I bought a C7 Z06, 3LZ, convertible, in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. As great as the C8 and C8 Z06 are, I still prefer the looks of the C7. Tons of torque, the traction control really can't help much. Haha! Thanks for the video!

The transmission is totally you. You do a lot of explaining but you ignore the fact that you drive the car hard. It's a Hyundai. Not a track car. Yes the transmission has issues but driving it like you do exacerbates those issues. You know it or you wouldn't be saying let me explain so much. I hope you get it fixed and that it serves you well. Someone should make an after-marked rubber or foam window opening blocker to use while washing the car. Seems easy.

I really didn't want to get a new exhaust because I like my factory black tips and how they contour together with the body, so after seeing this, I believe this is the direction I will go for the extra sound. Thanks for the upload, please put a link in the description to the exact part!

The corrosion on the aluminum after taking the belly pan off is crazy. The c8 dry blocks are well worth the money.

Just a thought for folks. I don’t use a pressure washer. Pressure is not needed. Next I put painters tape over the vents. It’s not expensive and takes no time at all. Cheers!
